Best for the clearest public cost guide, by pool size
Thursday Pools makes fiberglass pools at a single plant in Fortville, Indiana, and sells only through independent builders. It publishes the most detailed cost guide we found, updated in September 2026: most homeowners spend about $65,000 to $90,000 on a mid-size pool with standard decking. Thursday has also built most River Pools-brand shells since a 2015 joint venture, and bought River's manufacturing outright in 2021.

Thursday Pools cost, by size
Thursday's guide puts a fully installed fiberglass pool between $45,000 and $100,000 or more. By size: small pools under 26 ft run about $45,000 to $75,000, medium pools of 27 to 34 ft about $75,000 to $110,000, and large pools over 35 ft about $110,000 to $150,000 and up.
By scope, a basic install runs about $55,000 to $80,000 and a turnkey project about $65,000 to $100,000 or more. Thursday says most homeowners spend roughly $65,000 to $90,000 for a mid-size pool with standard decking and basic equipment.
Warranty
Thursday advertises a 35-year structural warranty and a 15-year surface warranty. Its website wording mixes "35-year" and "lifetime" in the same sentence, so read the written warranty: the River-brand version that Thursday issues says 35 years from installation and is one-time transferable.
Thursday Pools and River Pools
Thursday and River Pools formed a 50/50 manufacturing joint venture in December 2015, and Thursday built most River shells from then on. In 2021 Thursday acquired River's manufacturing and national dealer network outright. River Pools in Virginia remains an independent installation company.
Models and availability
Thursday lists about 44 designs, including spas, wet decks and wading pools. Plunge models such as The Nook measure 8 ft 4 in by 16 ft. The largest, Goliath, is 16 by 41 ft, and the deepest, Monolith, reaches 8 ft 6 in.
Thursday does not sell to homeowners or install pools itself. We did not confirm a California builder, so West Coast buyers should ask the company for the nearest one and price the freight from Indiana.

Crane access, excavation, the pad, electrical, fencing and permits decide most of the gap between a pool price and a finished backyard. In Southern California, the Bay Area and Greater Seattle, we can introduce you to 2 to 3 licensed pool contractors who can walk your yard and price that part.
