Among the six brands we compared, Five Star, Bath Planet and Luxury Bath spell out labor or installation coverage, and of those three, only Five Star describes its warranty as fully transferable.

Reading the territory licenses

Five Star location pages do not show license numbers, so we matched five territories to CSLB records by business name. Most of those are active class B licenses with no disclosures, and several are recent: Sacramento was issued in April 2025, San Jose in June 2025 and San Francisco in May 2026.

The South Coast territory license was suspended for lack of a qualifier when we checked. A newer license is not a problem in itself, but it does make the license number on your contract the most useful thing you can look up.
