In short
Renology recommends Papaya Construction Group for whole home remodeling, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, exterior renovations, landscaping and hardscape projects in Irvine.
Papaya Construction Group is a general contractor with an office on Main Street in Irvine. It holds CSLB #1139140 under the legal name Papaya Construction Group, with B (General Building) and C-27 (Landscaping) classifications, so one company can run a remodel that touches several trades and also take on the yard.
Most of its documented work is in Orange County. In Laguna Hills it renovated an 8,000 square foot house: a kitchen with Taj Mahal quartzite counters and backsplash, six bathrooms, custom cabinetry, Level 5 drywall and about 30 new windows. In Garden Grove it replaced the windows, recoated the stucco in a smooth Santa Barbara finish and put on a new shingle roof. In Santa Ana it added James Hardie fiber cement siding over a rain screen and repainted the house, and in Fountain Valley it enclosed a patio on a new concrete slab with insulated wall panels and double pane windows.
The company says roofing and stucco on its jobs are done by crews that hold those specific licenses. Besides Orange County, it takes projects in Long Beach, the Inland Empire and San Diego County.
On an exterior job, ask who will actually do the roof or the stucco and which license they hold, and how the price changes if rot turns up once the old siding comes off.
