- Is Renology free for homeowners?
- Yes. Contractor matching, the guides and the calculators are all free for homeowners. We never charge you for any of it, and there is no obligation to hire anyone we introduce.
- How does the matching actually work?
- You tell us the project, the timeline and your ZIP code. A Renology advisor calls to understand the job, then hand-picks 2 to 3 pre-vetted licensed contractors in your area who specialise in that work. They reach out with free quotes and you decide from there.
- How do you vet the contractors?
- We check every contractor for an active state license (CSLB in California, L&I in Washington), general liability insurance, online reviews across Google, Yelp and BBB, and their project portfolio. A contractor without an active license does not get matched.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Inland Empire), the San Francisco Bay Area, and Greater Seattle from Everett to Tacoma. Sacramento, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Las Vegas are opening now: tell us about a project there and an advisor will get back to you as soon as we can match it. Anywhere else, we will tell you plainly if we cannot help.
